The word Archon stems from the ancient Greek for "First Principle" or "Ruler." In the pursuit of engineering excellence, we believe that the first principle of any great machine is its heart, its power source.

While the Archon Core is the primary focus of this lab, the Voltaic mission extends beyond a single power source. It is an exploration into the fundamental interplay between electricity and mechanical efficiency. This involves ongoing research into high-torque actuator design, advanced kinetic energy recovery systems, and the development of low-latency control software that bridges the gap between human intent and machine response.
